help with patching psx games

I am using ppf o matic and cdrwin. When cd image file is created two files appear on the desktop one is a bin file the other is a cue file. When acccessing ppf o matic it asks for the ppf file which is the patch and the bin file then when you are applying that to the bin file (yes). When you go back to cdrwin you go to load cue file which is ok but all of the info including the patch is on the bin file (isnt it)so when you start recording the patched game does not work because you are recording from a cue file and there is nothing on the cue file cos it is in the bin file.Are you getting me, please help with this problem.

try it it DOES work forget the two its ok

Yes, just try it, the cue sheet you see is compiled from the info in the bin file, so whatever is in the bin file creates what is in the cue sheet. Good hunting!

As the other have said.... give it a go it works fine.

The Bin file is the image of the game and this is the one that gets patched to replace or change the protection information of the game. The Cue file is like an index file for CDRWin which tells it where and what size Bin file it should be looking for.
