plug in mod chip

I have a plug in mod chip called the ps hacker but i can seam to swap discs on some multi disk games e.g. in cold blood in this particular game the disc wont stop till the button which the spring holds down is relesed and doesnt let me save. And i know that once the button is depressed that it loses nesasser data i have heard of a second swap trick could this work and if so how is i done?

If your plug in Mod chip is in the back of the system (Paralell port), you cannot change discs if they are copies. The second you stop the disc by releasing the spring, the protection is lost. You must have a mod-chip installed to play multi cd's on PSX.

(I'm presuming that you put in an original cd, let it spin and then swap it.)
