I've read a lot of posts concerning this game and no one seems to be able to copy this game right. Does anyone know what program is able to copy this game right ? I can't run nero, I doesn't work properly on my pc. It says it can't operate on a pc that's using adaptec easy cd creator at the same time.

HI
You have probably read other posts about PS2 games using CDR-WIN, well with my experience it is the best copying program to copy PSX games a well as Clone CD which is also an other excellent program. That's if your Burner supports "Don't repair SubChanel Data" Anyway I will get to the shall I, 2 copy Star Wars Star Fighter use these settings 1. On the CDRWin menu, within the CD Recording Tools window, click Extract Disc/Tracks/Sectors to Image File. 2. Enter the Image Filename, this has the .BIN extension for example: C:\PS_IMAGES\COOL_BOARDERS_2001.BIN. Ensure that the folder you have designated to save your image in exists; manually create this folder if needed. 3. The Reading Options settings should be as follows: - RAW = #####ed - Error Recovery = Ignore - Jitter Correction = Disable - Subcode Analysis = Auto - Data Speed = MAX - Audio Speed = MAX - Read Retry Count = 50 - Subcode Threshold = 300 Once you?fve adjusted the Reading Options settings to the above values, click on Save Settings. 4. You are now ready to begin extracting the Disc to an ISO image file. Click START to begin. The Extract Disc process will create 2 files in the directory you designated. The first file is the .BIN file, which is the actual image file of the game and a .CUE file, which contains information regarding the data layout of the actual image file. Apply The Appropriate Patch File To The ISO Image 1. The patch file sent to you will be in a ZIP format and will therefore need to be Unzipped and extracted to the same directory as the image file you just created. To accomplish this you will need to use a program like WinZip 2. Once you have extracted the contents of the patch zip file to the same directory as your image file, use Windows Explorer to browse the contents of this folder. 3. Start PPF-O-Matic (this is the program that will actually patch the image file for you) by double clicking on the PPF-O-Matic icon (Skull & Crossbones). 4. Click on the small Disk icon to the right of the PPF-File text box to locate the appropriate patch file. All patch files have a .PPF extension. 5. Next, click on the small Disk icon to the right of the BIN-File text box to locate the image file you created in the steps above. 6. Finally, to apply the patch, click on the Apply button. You will receive a message stating that the patch was successful and that the image can now be burned to CDR. Burning Patched Image File To CDR 1. Open CDRWin and click on the Record Disc button. 2. Ensure that your CDR or CDRW drive is selected as the CDROM Recorder device. 3. Click the Load Cuesheet button and select the cuesheet created for your patched image file that was just created. Example: C:\PS_IMAGES\COOL_BOARDERS_2001.CUE 4. Set Recording speed to 1x for maximum reliability (recommended). 5. Click on the Start Recording button to initiate the writing process. |
