neo2 stupidity

I give you this. The NEO2 is a great chip and I give mad props to Rapt0r and his crew, I ##### playstationmods.com everyday for new news, etc. Thanx for keeping us alive boyz. here is my problem though.
WHY would you soder ANYTHING to a $300 system (or more if you were stupid), without sodering experiance? I've seen at least 20 people who've fried their boards, as far as I'm concerned you deserve it for having way too much confidence in yourself. I personally have lots of sodering experiance and I wouldn't do it. I'll get somone like playthegames or an engineer or two I know to do it if I do. considering how things are going I figure we'll have a no swap, one wire, external one day soon enough. Till then why can't you be patient enough to use cog/knife??? ALL my games have worked except like 2, which required a quick kit fix. cog/knife is great with v1.3, Star Fighter and Eternal Ring are the only two games I don't have working. And I'm sure the right dummy size or AddZer0 may fix it. I just don't see some of you're reasonings. I give you credit and agree with you if you have enough sodering experiance to do it, shoot I would, but not if I was some poor newbie or even with the experiance I have. I chipped 2 ps1s working great, and I still wouldn't chip a ps2 with a swap-mod.

Oh well.

In other news, anyone hear anymore about the FMxtream? the article on playstationmods.com is very short and doesn't reviel much.
How about the Neo Key?
Or the German no-swap mod (i figure a 3 wire config. IS possible, if you consider how the neo key works with the usb port... maybe?)?

Is Neo3 gonna be no-swap? Any news on her?

Again props to Rapt0r and crew, KAL, ECH, Xena, and a hundred others who make this possible.
Please only back-up games you own, support gaming and buy software.

That was long. I have no life. But at least I'm not a newbie.

yeah
soldering is not that hard to do. I had never soldered anything I did it(once I figured out where all the points where) That was the hardest part. Also pin 5&6 gave me no problems at all. It was pin7 that was hard. You have the least amount of terminal to make contact with. pins 5&6 has alot more surface area.My take on it was could I afford to purchase a new ps2 if I screwed it up.which was no but I did it anyway hehe. By the way I hooked the chip up about 4 different times to the wrong locations but luckily the chip and PS2 works great now. Just be sure you locate all the corect points and that it matches exactly what is pictured, not similiar, exactly.
