BIG problem with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2

I'm trying to copy Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (PAL) with CDRWIN, but it always blocks at 92%, even when I choose : "Error recovery" replace. Please, please help me, I tried everything I know

Then its nackered, there must be one big mother of a scratch/dent on that disk if the error replace didn't work.

Try and get another copy from a m8 or a video rental shop and try backing up that to see if u get the same problem.

It could be some other problem, but from what u have said i am pretty sure the problem is the disk.

i got another problem whit
tony hawk's pro skater2 when i try to make a bacxkup whit clone cd or cdrwin it dosn't work whit the psx but it works whit epsxe or bleem! why!!! plase answare me by email filli100**********com

u have actually got your psx chipped haven't u? Also if u have patched the game, i'd recommend not to. There is no copy protection on the TH2 disk (well the PAL version anyway) so just make a straight off as is copy.

yeah my psx is chiped and i did not patch it i tried 2 time's whit out patch and then i added the pal ntsc selector but it still hangs where you se the psx logo it is an ntsc version and the same thing happens in many other games that i tried to copy like 007,driver2,the mummy, and more and i have tried clone-cd and cd-rwin

what burn speed??are you using shit discs??try burning as slow as poss with a decent disc

i am using tdk disc's and kodak disc's and the burning speed is 8x but ehy does the cd's work on epsxe and bleem and not the psx

I used Nero to do a straight copy of TH2 and it works fine on my PS (which isnt chipped - i just use the swap trick)

playstation lasers are CHEAP.Use cdrwin to make a bin file apply the ntsc to pal patch and burn it to cdr at 2x speed.some games copy better at low speeds,....Hope this helps !!!

I am with N@ i burnt my THPS2 with CDRWIN and it worked perfectly. i dont even have aCHIP in my PSX. i still depend on the OLD SWAP TRICK.. just make a backup CD with CDRWIN and make shure the RAW MODE is on and burn at a LOW SPEED with no otherprgrams running,.... Hope that workz
