Patching and playing games.

System: PAL PS2 | NEO2 MODCHIP | AR2

Ok, i have succesfully copied 2 games (with CloneCD) and they work fine using the Action Replay 2 method.

However I can't get SSX to work - I have tried all the suggested ways but I cant get it to work. I copied this in the same way. I was wondering whether or not I do need to patch it, and how this works? Does playing patched CD's involve using the swap-trick where you have to 1/2 dissasemble your PS2?

Anyhelp would be appreciated!

it is an ea sports game so try the ea sports boot sequence, i had the same problem when i first started copying PS2 games. Hope this helps!

I have tried the EA boot sequence - all the suggested types..

When I do it, I get the CD in and either wait for it to close (then it hangs on the AR2 screeen) or I close it myslef, which makes the game spin and load to the black screen - normal games then spin and load again, but SSX starts to load and stops.. do I need to patch it??
