Ok im lost!!

im tryin to back up a PSX game and im using CDRwin. Im makin a image to my hard drive and then recordin it. I also patch the image but when i use CDRWIN it records the .cue and not the .bin. The patch was for the .bin. Is this common or am i doing something wrong? PLEASE HELP ME!!

Why dont you use FIREBURNER instead.
Maybe this should cure your problem.

you are doing it correct. when you go to make a backup from image, you have to select LOAD CUESHEET then you select the correct .cue file. This file tells cdrwin how and what to load. You can view it in notepad to take a look at whats there.

ok i have done that but its still not working.I dont know whats wrong. Maybe its my writer i have a Teac w54e. Can someone tell me if this writer is able to use CDRWIN or not?

i have the same writer, it works fine, i have backed up many games with cdrwin. You may have to update your firmware for the teac, you can do this from the control panel.
click system:
device manager:
cd-rom:
Teac cd w54e:
Driver tab:
update driver:
this should update you to 7.1 firmware
good luck and let us know how you do.
