I need an oppinion on the ps2 mod chip

Is it really worth it? Should i really spend all that money for a gs2 and a mod chip or do u think a new chip will becoming out soon... a chip that'll work like a regular psone chip.

I'd appreciate as many oppinions as possible.

IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOU DOESNT IT HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO PAY FOR YOUR GAMES..E.G
2 BACKUPS AND THATS PAID FOR THE CHIP AND BOOT DISK..NOBODY KNOWS WHEN ANOTHER CHIP WILL BE AVAILABLE..SO ITS UP TO YOU AND HOW LONG YOU WANT TO WAIT AND ALSO MISS OUT ON SOME GREAT GAMES FROM ALL COUNTRIES AND NOT JUST THE ONE WHERE YOUR PS2 IS FROM
