dad
These are the settings I use whether the game is protected or not.
Read Settings;
- CHECK: Read SubChannel data from Data Tracks
- CHECK: Read SubChannel data from Audio Tracks
- UNCHECK: Fast Error Skip
- UNCHECK: Don't Report Read Errors
- UNCHECK: Intelligent Bad Sector Scanner

Write Settings;
- Write Mode: Raw DAO
- CHECK: Don't Repair SubChannel Data
- CHECK: Burnproof/Justlink (if supported by drive)
- CHECK: Always close last session.

If the above Settings are what you've been using then try the following;
Clean the original psx game and read at a lower speed as dirt and scratches from the original could give you unintended (not caused by the protection scheme) read errors. As for what burn speed, do a write simulation (if supported by drive) before you burn away to determine the best write speed that your computer system can handle.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!
