I've never backed up a game before, how do i get started?

I'd like to make back -up copies of my playstation games but I'm not sure where to start, I've got the burning and everything and I tried to do it on my own, but of course failed... what programs will i need? and where do i get them? and any other helpful hints?

email me if you like, its Mark_Hayes**********com... thanks ~Mark

1st is your psx chipped or do u have a game enhancer? you will need these to check if your game works.
2nd get a copy of nero from www.ahead.de
3rd goto www.aqik1.co.uk and click on nero setup & burning and follow those steps. make sure screensaver is anti virus is and ne thing else you might have running.
4th try it and let me know how you get on?

ps dont worry i burnt at least 15 coasters before i got it right

1st- You definitely need an anti-mod chip. I purchased my from consolesource.com ($20.00 s/h included) and installed it in 15 minutes. This anti-mod chip will keep you from having to update you chips, this one is the SHIT! All you ever need to do is download patches from here on out.

2nd-Download CDRWIN from consolesource.com site, and they will also provide all the instructions you need to copy games. settings, patches, etc.

3rd-Do not use cheap CDR media, Use one that allows images, not audio only. Preferably, Fujifilm (80 min/700Mb)
Others prefer Verbatim.

When you receive the anti-mod chip, you will install it and all copied games will play like a dream. Remember, some of the newer games require patching, Patches are provided at consolesource.com.
