Turning Mod chip off
Question: Is it possible to turn off my existing mod chip?
Can I just disconnect it and then reconnect it? Any help would be great. Big Al |

----------------------------------------------- I asked how to explain and heres one of the replies I had gotten. Hope this helps. ------------------------------------------------ Just to add to spookys solution, you need only cut EITHER the wire at pin 1 OR at pin 8 as these are the wires that power the chip (1=V+) (8=V-), then put the switch in between the two pieces of the wire you have cut. As I have tried to demonstrate below !!!!! .......................\.......................... ...... to pin<_______|---|______>to spot on PCB switch ------------------------------------------------ |
