Medal Of Honor 2 problems?
Does anyone have problems with a backup of Medal Of Honor 2 or Medal of Honor. I have copies of both games and both games act strangely sometime. For example when a mission is loading, it just gets stuck and the load bar does not move and you gotta reboot the game and then it would work fine (most of the time) . The same problem also occurs when you end the mission, it just stops loading and the load bar doesnt move. This doesnt happen extremely often, about 1/8 times. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Short:Take other CD-Rs. I think you have noname CD-Rs or something like that. Take CD-Rs from TDK,Siemens Fujitsu... . You must look which CD-R works together with your playstation. I´ve the same problem with some games.

I do not have 'no name cd-r'. I use SONY CD-R which in my opinion is the best. It works perfectly with all my other games. So I know that the problem is not what disk I use.

I have a backup of Medal of Honor2, it works without problems. The problem you mention is one I sometimes had in the past when I used Copier Deluxe as software now I use CDRWin since then no more lockups when loading. I also use no name CR-R. Maybe you should consider use a different software] |

I now use those Black CDR's from Memorex....
They have a black recordable layer, which appears to be exactly the same as a standard PS disc (PS discs are basically recordable, and are recorded using special development encoders that are able to create mysterious bad sectors etc that are used in PS copy protection.... they aren't glass-mastered like PC or CDA discs.) They are also high capacity.... I would recommend them to anyone is having problems with media on the PS, otherwise, just stick to the trusted brands, and stay well away from unbranded media, 'cause you'll end up chucking more than half the discs away.... |
