How do I patch things exactly? Plz help me out!

I've heard about all this stuff on how you need to patch EA games, and I've even found sites that have the patches for games, but I don't know how to use these patches after I download them. I have a NeoKey that I got at modking.com I'm also using a version 4 ps2 and have hooked up my modchip. I have gotten my other games to work by using nero to burn them, but my EA ones still don't work. If you could give me exact instructions on how to do everything on patching, and what I need and where to get it from, that would be great! My e-mail is gshipe88********com if you want to e-mail me. It's too complicated to go into. It all used to be laid out nicely at ####://www.eapatcher.com and if you search the Forum on EA keyword, someone has reported another site with detailed info.

The wiser ones, if you'll forgive me for the implication, have chosen an internal modchip like NO2.2 where you can copy EA games with CloneCD and forget about patching.
