I have been have problems also, I have done a copy of the CD, I have imaged it using CDRWin and burn it to a CD with CDRWin but I keep coming up with "please insert the original PSX CD" on the screen (also the PSX is mod chiped and it works with all my other backups), I need help on this. The FF9 is a US NTSC version.

Sempai Doushite?
hee hee.... well i burned a ntsc version of ff9 with nero and im playing the game right now(well after i type this). they all copied cleanly .

as for the other guy...playstation games can almost be kinda classified as "audio" cd's in the way there disc usage is managed. for one dont go by the megage but by the time. just as long as its under 74 min you ok... that 650MB thing only comes in when dealing with data cd's cause space is set aside for a table of contents etc...

I can't belive you hadn't problems whit FMV!!! What disc are you playing? I'm on dics 3 and the game stopped about 3/4 times (shit!). I've burned a lot of cd (each cd twice) but I haven't made a full-working copy yet! (if you know something replay my message "I need a full working copy of Final Fantasy9", thanks).
