Please help with PS2 games

I had a PS1 with a modchip in it and had a couple of games. Now i will be getting a PS2 in a couple of weeks and i have no idea how to get some games burned. I have access to a CD/DVD burner so that's not a problem. So could someone please take a few minutes of their time and tell me how this works? Or is it just plain and simple like PS1? I'm seeing all these swap tricks and stuff, no clue what they're for. Thanks in advance.

As of now the only mod chips available for PS2 require a "swap trick". You have to insert the boot disc for PS2 (you have to buy this unless you got an import PS2 - search the web for PS2 Mod Chips - you will find the chip and the boot disc for sale for around $40) it will auto-eject if you're mod-chip is installed correctly - you then have @ 4 seconds to put your back-up in the tray. Not very complicated if you just can't wait for a mod-chip that doesn't require the swap. Shouldn't be too long before they have one available.
