Protection Patch for Coolboarders 2001

Anyone have a patch for this? I rented it, only to find out I can't play it! :P

Another trick is:
1. Start Spyro 3
2. Wait until you see the logo "Insomniac"
3. When this logo starts to move, pop the lid of the playstation, wait 5 sec then close. The game will now play

This trick works for other games such as Coolboarders 2001
Find out where the antimod logo pops up then do this trick about 3-5 sec before it.

Hmm..does this trick require lots and lots or practice? I just tried it many times, but it never worked... Should I just keep trying?
