PS2 copies
I have a PS2(jap) which is modded and it plays american PS1 games fine(original and CDR's). I just pop in any japanese PS1 game and swap it with the american game I want to play. Trying to play backed up PS2 requires me to use the utility disc that came with the PS2 but I must apply a patch. The patched ga,es seem to work half of the times or it doesn't work at all. Also most soundtracks tend to skip as well as the intros. Maybe I'm not burning my PS2 games correctly. Is there any way to correctly copy and play a PS2 game on a Mac or PC.

Sounds like you may be using CDR media that your PS2 doesn't like. I've found my Jap PS2 to be more picky about the CDR media that I use than my original Playstation was. I've had good luck with Verbatim.

Can either of you tell me how to back up PS2 games and how convert them or whatever I need to do to upload to the web for safekeeping?
