Help with WinRAR
OK let’s say that, hypothetically of course, I have a DC game that I downloaded from somewhere that is in several different .rar files that I need to extract. Now let’s say that I try to extract these files using WinRAR and it is asking me to overwrite files I already extracted. What do I do? If I were to have DC files I needed extracted, which I don’t of course, what would be the proper method of doing so? Anyone who could give me a brief description of how to do so would be greatly appreciated.

If I am right in thinking, you are extracting each rar file individually, you only need to extract the first usually ****.001, if you double click on the first file winrar should open then highlight the *.cdi image and extract to a Dir of your choice. The rar should then utilise all the other rars to build the image.
Hope this helps. |
