I answered a similiar question before, but what the hell i'll do it again. Open up a DOS prompt and type 'rename filename.cdi filename.gre' hey presto one gre file, though i've no idea what the hell a gre file is, anyone care to enlighten me ?

GRE? I dont think there is such a thing.

And about renaming a file... I think you might be going over some peoples head. Most people dont even know what DOS is or a COMMAND PROMPT.

lol

The answer is simple:
There was a FAKE emulator named Nightmare or so (don't remember clearly) that alows you to play dreamcast games on PC. Of cource it's not working and when you try to open game it asked for the .gre files. I think this is the one he's asking.
So, the funniest thing of it that there was a commercial program ($20) that makes .gre files form the GD-ROM directly - you need just insert GD-ROM to your DVD-ROM and program will convert.

I only want to figure out how many ppl's they fooled up with this prog

So, stop asking that question - this is all FAKE and a great JOKE!!!
