Shenmue II hooligans iso voice problem?

i burned shenmue II at 4x. the game play's fine but when i go to talk to people only the subtitles comes up and no voice? the only time the voice comes up is when something happens like a scene? has anyone else had these problem?

Probably ripped to get it to fit on a CDR

Well it would be Japanese voices anyway, so what exactly are you missing out on?
