Shenmue II and patches?

can there be an english patch for Shenmue II? cause i don't want to wait till december for shenmue II and i can't understand japanese. so can someone make an english patch if they really wanted to?

Obviously the patch could not fix the Japanese voice-overs, but the text yes, maybe even add subtitles to the speech. It would take a good amount of time to translate all that, I'm waiting for the English release myself.

if they could make the text in english that would be perfect since shenmue II won't have english voices in the US release. so what would it take for someone to do this?
