HELP!!!! Soul Calibur Problem

I am fairly new to the whole Dreamcast backup scene and i have a problem which is probably just some small error that i am not aware of. I bought an original copy of Soul Calibur but it was damaged during a scuffle with my lil sis. The dreamcast was shook while it was on and my 2 day (this was just after the DC launch 9-9-99) old soul caliblur was all scratched up by the thing the cd spins on. Just recently i found a few sites on backing up games and managed to get my hands on the Soul Calibur CDI.
The game is self booting so i don't need the boot disc so i found some instructions on how to burn the game and i did so. The burn went correctly but when i put the game in and it loaded up the screen was all jumpy and it wouldn't stop. I turned off the DC and restarted it but now the game won't even load up. It just goes to the CD player and thats it. I burned the Game using discjuggler and used the following options selected:
Mode 2
Block 2368
Post Gap Unselected
Rawwrite selected
all other options were left the same.
I have burned previous games on the same options if that helps
