searched the forum plenty of times...still need help!
ok... i just got done gettin crazytaxi... extracted it with winrar and got a cue. and a bin. ....which i'm not familar with... i tired BIN2BOOT to make a self boot cdi. but says a record for the boot file could not be found...? so then i tired makin it an iso file, was successful and got the cdi. icon... can i burn that? is it self boot? if not what else do i need?

Someone else had a problem just like this, no one knows where they got the release from. I have not dealed with BIN and CUE files since pre-self-boot days, so the only thing I am going to suggest is go forth and find a GOOD CT2 release, like Hooligans.

CT and CT2 are different games and one is not the same as the other.
For Crazy Taxi, I struck out on BIN2BOOT as well, although I have a bootable copy now. What you need to do is extract the files from the .BIN file using ISOBUSTER and then manually construct a self-boot disc using the Echelon self-boot tutorial. It worked for me! The only problem I have with CT is that it doesn't work with GameShark. When I boot CT under GameShark, it reboots the DC to the 4-icon menu and when I press "PLAY" afterwards, it loads, but without the cheats. |
