Problems with Sonic 2 patch

I haveing poblems with the patch that goes on the game sonic 2. Ok this is how I do it.
1.Run the applyppf
2.Click and drag the cdi
3.same with the pff

That does not work what it say is not enough perimeters
What do I do?

is MSDOS (just to be safe) go to the directory where the .cdi image is and type the following line.

APPLYPPF.EXE E-SONIC2.CDI E-SON2FX.PPF

the patch and game must be in the same folder and lets hope you know how to navigate DOS.

Hmmm since he can't apply a simple patch, the chances of him being able to navigate through DOS are fairly slim.

Lesson 1: Basic Commands

C: - Changes the drive, replace C as necessary, use as the following: D:

CD - Changes directory, use as the following: CD MP3s

CD.. - Drops you back one directory

FDISK - Useful utility...
