A Brain is needed for this one.

OK heres one that will stump you.......
My 5yr old is a bit of a wiz on the pc gggrrrr@ him but anyways when i d/l iso's now 001 002 003 004 all turn out fine then when it gets to 005 it turns into a CD creator file then 007 etc turn out fine. I have NFI how to turn it back to a rar and my son just laughes at me when i ask him how he did it.
Even with DOA2 i saved the files onto a disk ( coz my HD is small) and when i put them back onto my pc to d/l over the top 005 has changed to a CD creator file aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh.
Any NICE suggestions would be a help as long as their nice and ya dont tell me where to shove them lol.

And remember I wuv you MaskedMoMo hehehehe

Your file associating system has had extension .005 set for CD creator file

ie

a file has been clicked on (!"£$%.005) and it has been associated with CD creator.

do this:-

double_click MY COMPUTER

goto VIEW/FOLDER OPTIONS

click File Types

scroll up or down until you find extension

.005 file (it may be present within CD creator)

click on 005.file the click remove (on right)

If you don't find a ".005" in the associations list, it may be a "Hidden Association" where someone has double-clicked a .005 file and when it didn't know what program to load it with, it prompted for one, and once the program is chosen, if the #####box "Always open with this program" is #####ed, it will permanently associate with that file... The problem is, this sort of association usually doesn't appear in the list. You can ignore the association (WinRAR will still span the files through the .005 with no problem), or you can do a forced association with WinRAR by holding your SHIFT ### down while right-clicking the file. Choose "OPEN WITH", and find WinRAR in the list.

Frankly, since WinRAR will still work on the .005 even though it's associated with another program, I wouldn't worry about it if you can't find it in the list that MadForIt mentioned above.
