Need Help with tokyo racer2!!!
I am tryin to make a back up of my back up copy. Is there a program that will copy a DC back up, or a way to turn it back into a ISO or RAR format so that I can burn it again? It it a self boot jap version. Any help on how to copy games that are already backed up will help.

I tried to copy with diskjuggler and got an error. It said that there was not enough space on target disk. I tried with a 650 mb and a 700 mb CDR. What do I need to do?

You might also try setting Disc Juggler to permit "OVERBURN". If it's got 81 minutes of data and you're using an 80 minute disc, it'll puke on you, unless OverBurn is set. It may still puke if your burner isn't capable of overburning.

I got a copy of guilty gear X to copy, but still have problems with Racer. They are both Japanese versions, and both are self bootable. I will try the newsettings and some sony CDR's.

Didnt work. I tried to copy sonic 2 also, and get the same error message. It says-CDB:2a0000002db400001000 status040002 Sense052100 Buffer underrun
What does that mean? I set it to max read, 4x-1x write, over burn, and burn to temp folder. Just wont work. what else can I try? |

That is weird to get a "buffer underun" burning at 1x.... The only thing I would suggest would do some routine maintanence. I would do the following:
1. Run Scandisk 2. Clean out your "temp" directory 3. Do a thourough defrag If you have more than one physical HDD, I would test the speed on both. Whichever has the fasted read/write speed, I would configure DJ3 to use a temp directory on that drive. I burn at 8x with no problems. Most people recommend burning at 4x or even 2x. Good luck. |

What does buffer underrun mean? I keep gettin it and am just throwing CDRs away! The test goes fine, but it wont copy. This really sux, disk juggler really sux. What can I do? Sonic 2 does not copy either, only the one guilty gear X copied.

I actually can't believe I'm answering this question, but it must be the Baily's in my Joe. A buffer underun, is the most hated and despised word in a rippers vocabulary. It is the word that no one can stand to see. It basically means that your HDD can't keep up with your CD-R... The possible causes are: Totally fragmented HD. HD errors. Slow HD speed. Follow the directions in the earlier post. If that doesn't help at all, I would uninstall DJ, and reinstall it... And if you are running NT4, get the latest service pack.. |

Buffer underruns can be caused by your computer doing *ANYTHING ELSE* while you're burning an image.
Make sure you close out all programs that access the hard drive. Email programs, screen-savers, virus-scan software, you name it. Shut it *ALL* down. You may have to shut some of it down by using the CTRL-ALT-DEL button to pull up a task list and then "END TASK" whatever you don't want loaded. I know about this, all to well, as I've gotten buffer underruns when my email program ####ted #####ing my mail while I was burning. Even when someone calls me on the phone and my caller-id progam pops up, it may cause a buffer underrun. Whatever your burn software, there should be some "buffer" indicator displayed and you should be able to see when your buffer ####ts to fall. it should always stay right around 95-100% unless it's almost to the end of the burn or it's through with a session and ####ting another. If you see it dropping down to 50 or lower, you have something using either your hard drive or your processor that is slowing down your burner software. Find it, kill it, and try again. |

I give up! I defraged my system, then turned everything off, then set to 1x speed, then tried 3 different CDRs, and nothin works. It keeps sayin buffer under run. oh well.

The only other thing I can think of is that you have not set a "temp" directory within the software. Many burn proggies, have a option to set where and how much temp space should be cached... ##### to make sure it is pointing to a valid directory, and you have enough space for at least 800mb...
