Re-Copying Echelon's NFL2k & NFL2K1

I borrowed a copy of a friend's backup of NFL2K and NFL2K1 (Echelon release) and have been trying to copy them, but I ended up with about a dozen coasters!
First I tried Adaptec CD Copier (it was working well with other games), that didn't work. So I tried Disc Juggler v.3, to just to a straight copy (both from CDR -> CDR, and CD -> CDR) and that's not working. I tried making them ISOs first (in CDRWin) and then burning them, and that's not working either!
His copies work perfectly (selfboot as well). The methods I described above have worked fine for me before with countless other titles, but I just can't seem to get these to work.

When I looked at the data I saw it was approx. 74mins. and I was using 80 minute CDs, thought that might have been the problem, but his copy is on an 80min. so that knocks out that theory. I also noticed that it's only on 1 track as well (whereas, most others are on 2), could that have something to do with it? I know I could re-download the ISO, but I'm on 56k, so that's near impossible.
Help! What am I doing wrong? Is there something special I have to do with these ones? Any help appreciated! Let me know if you need more info.
