What makes a Dc bootdisk?

K, at first i thought that the IP.BIN was the boot file and that the 1st_read.bin was the program that i was trying to run. In this case i am trying to get Dcloader_ip_1.0.1 to work. I have a bunch of cds that are now coaster because i thought that i could use the IP.bin to boot up. DOH! well anywayz, i will be up all night tonigh and #####ing the board until i figure out that makes the DC load up a cd. so i would really appreciate it if anyone could explain how this all works, I now know that the IP.BIN file is always 32k, and that the this is harder then i thought it would be, but it is still alot of fun. thanks
