If they are original game discs, forget it. It's not something a novice should try. Just try to find copies of them already dumped to image files...
Copying original games cannot be done on a CD burner. You have to connect your Dreamcast to your PC by serial cable, boot a special "Serial Slave" disc on the Dreamcast and dump the files to your computer. This takes all night/day to accomplish even if you know what you're doing. Then you have to extract the files from the file you dumped, patch files, etc, and then burn them to a disc. Not the easiest thing to do. If you're referring to games that were already copied to CDR discs, and you want to make another copy of them, you can try Nero or DiscJuggler to make a copy. |

why is it that everyone says that copying a backup is as easy as copying any other cd on your pc?? I've tried that with clone cd, and nero5.5...they still won't work on my DC!

The method IS the same as copying a PC game as in creating a disc image and then re-burning using any burning software you like.
The problem is more to do with your actual burner, cuz on a back-up DC disc the first session of a self boot is a 300 sector blank audio track, which gets the second session data to ####t at the correct LBA of 11700 or 117200, fooling the DC into thinking it's an original GD-ROM. But a number of burners have trouble burning 300 sectors as it is such a small amount of data. Try using DJ V 3.0 for creating your disc images as i know this problem has been fixed with a number of burners... Hope this helps
