Right lets clear this up once and for all, you do not have to change the default settings for diskjuggler, diskjuggler takes the settings from the image it is burning. As for backing up games again just leave the settings alone, it'll work fine.

quite clearly there must be occaisional need for the settings to be altered or they wouldnt have let you adjust them

Such as where the image has been tweaked with third party programs... or possibly just when the default settings are persistantly giving you an unusable end product.

for example there are a number of #####boxes in DJv3 that were not available in DJv2 (as far as i can tell from screenshots/tutorials etc) were these handled automatically in v2 or are they completly new.. and can a converted v2 image be relied upon to carry all the right settings?

ok i've burned over 50 dc iso's with discjuggler, and never touched a setting from initial instalation. Some say DJ suk, but i've only ever had success burning and making images..........

OK change the settings to whatever you like, it'll not make a blind bit of difference but heh if it makes you feel better knock yourself out.
