My DC is dead because of CD-R's

OK, first I couldn't believe CD-R's could get your DC damaged. But believe me, IT REALLY HAPPENS (after 8-9 months)! I used alot of different CD-R's, and now every game resets itself after a while. It's very annoying. So please tell me what kind of CD-R's are good for my new DC. Thanx!

I had the same problem with mine, so i did that and now it works fine!

Hi, I had the same problem, every game ####ted to reset itself and I would always get the DC screen you get if you haven't put a game in. I thought at first it was because of the games but I realised that it was because the DC lid wasn't working propely, it wouldn't push the little lever placed under it in the DC which allowed the gd reader to know the lid was closed. So I oppened my DC and just put some tape on the lever in order to keep it back so the gd reader thought the lid was closed. Try it and see.
