Hello.
I have got disk juggler version 2.0 and I am trying to patch the dgb fix for vampire chronicles. I have created a cd image, but have no idea how i am suppose to patch the file. I can not find any reference in the help..or anyway. the patch file is a .ppf Help would be appreciated, as it has cost me a lot, buying the game..getting the back up, getting disk juggler! Thanks. If you have made your own disc image with discjuggler i'm not sure this will work!!!!!!!
Get yourself apply ppf from this site, the example below is for sports jam cuz i couldn't be bothered to type it all out again but the format is the same! Put the PPF patch file into a directory, open up a dos window and go to that directory were the patch file is. eg C:\temp Type dir in the dos window and the patch file will be listed with a different name eg S-je~ch.ppf (remember this new name) Then put the .cdi image and the applyppf.exe also into C:\temp with the patch file. So in C:\temp u should have S-jam image.cdi/applyppf.exe and the sjech.ppf (patch file) Then in the same dos window type APPLYPPF.EXE E-Sjam.cdi (new name.ppf that the dir command gave u) eg S-je~ch.ppf and hit enter. Try this if still no luck post back!!!!!!!!

No luck.
I created a cdi image from my bootleg copy but no luck. i used applyppf.exe on the 1st read.bin file as instructed, and it was patched, but i can not write it to a cd and get the dc to run it. all the information is there, but something is obviously missing as dc thinks it is an audio cd. managed to waste 3 80 minute cds, so i am looking for more help/advice/ something etc.. thanks. sam |
