little help connecting xbox to pc

i think my best choice and the choice that im gonna take is to exchange this router for a multi port ethernet rouer. i called up internet/dsl provider and they told me that they were gonna come by tomorrow morning to exchange it for me i am sure after this i will be connected in no time.

but thanx for everyone who helped and took the time to answer my questions even though the advices giving to me did not accomplish my goal. i still think u guys did a good job in trying to help me out

in the mean time i'll just store my games on the xbox's HDD

actually i havent got it to work...but i can still store my games on the xbox straight from its dvd drive to its HDD. it only takes me about 5 mins or so

buty i still think u should try just doin what i said
after disconnectin the router and just using a crossover straight to the xbox

i didnt work..ill just stick with how i've been doing it....the easy way plus my internte/dsl provider told me that they will exchange this router for a multi port in a few hours....yay!!
