The modchip is about the size of a quarter and it doesnt come with wire. You'll need to buy some knyar wire. 22AWG for the power and ground, 30 to 34AWG for everything else. you will alse need a desolder braid, flux and a little luck

Once I receive my PS2, it's off to Norcalmods.com... what is the advantages of the Matrix Infinity over the Crystal or even the Magic V? Thanks for any help!

I have 2 crystal chipped consoles and love them. I rank them second to the infinity only because their flash updates seem to come alot slower than the Matrix team. Both are Great chips. MagicV is not a bad chip. Its like the Apple chips and the Messiah's. Their older chips and dont auto detect the media on boot, They have certain boot sequences for playing PSX and DVD's And are good strictly for loading backups. They dont have any of the extra features the CC or MI has.

BTW good choice on sending it to Spedmetal, You wont be disappointed. You will find it well worth the money and the wait.
