Im still having trouble with PS 2 backups of Vice City & 007 Nightfire.Have tried burning at 2 x speed as suggested but still no luck.Have tried some Traxdata disk.Has anybody used Zero Defex Pure Purple from CD-r Media as they dont have any Ritek disks in stock.Any other ideas very much appriecated as ive no enough coasters for drinks!

listen to get ritek go to www.rima.com
if you are using a sonydru500a or ax you will need to upgrade your recordnow max to recordnow 4.5
and create a GI file and do it at a Min then save then wait then burn a copy on ritek at 2x and wait and you have a perfect copy of your origanl. Well i have over 200 backups and work perfect no coasters nothing
and i have both a sonydru500a and ax

Thanks for your reply.My version is Record Now DX version 4.6.Is that different to Record Now Max ? Your link was for US web site for Ritek disks where best for Uk sites

media type ?

im still having trouble with ps2 games backups.have completed some dvd movie backups no probs.i think my ps2 is version 3.it will boot up ps2 backups on cd-r via dvd region x boot disk.is it the media im using.ive tried zero defex,bulkpack,traxdata(they all work for movies)shud i try some better disks.

The media isn't your problem The problem is most likely your laser. v3 lasers suck and have problems with dvd media.

yes thanks 4 all ur help folks.got new ps2 ver 7 with messiah 2 chip fitted all my coasters now work.also done some more since so sticky guide was perfect and so was media like u said.thanks!
