Thats where I purchased my Sony Drive from. Excellent people, they even shipped it 2 days early (I had it preordered).

sony vs pioneer

now that tyler brough up the discussion .. i did a little research. i was under the impression that the sony drives only wrote at 2.5x for dvd-r, but i think they write at 4x just like the ao5. I know that many people have written on how great the pioneer drives are for burning ps2 backups. Are the sony drives just as reliable? I also have modded my xbox. Is there any difference there in reliability in burning backups or does most of the reliability come from buying better blank media?

The only major difference between the Sony and the A05 is the Sony supports the +R/+RW format... The Sony is a little faster for cd-r speeds and such.....They are both GREAT drives.....
TylerDurden LOVES his Sony....
I LOVE my A05.....
