Hi guys,
Yup, this is just the usual .RTPatch binary file patching system, in the form of a DLL. This one has the user interface built into it, that's why it contains lots of strings, including the one that ProtectionID thought to be a potential CD check. sabbey, never mind, this DLL is not an integral part of the game, no need to patch it at all! That's good to know! Thanks for the help in determining that...
I will try using Un-CDCheck v1.0 again (Is there a newer version BTW?) and will let you all know if it works or not. BTW, while the game doesn't let you install the movies to the HDD within the installer, I found them on the 2 CDs and put them in the correct location on the HDD. Will check to see if they play correctly as well... Crossing fingers!

Bummer! It seems that Un-CDCheck v1.0 didn't work after all. It says it patched the files successfully, but it still won't work. Anyone know of another way around the CD checks or should I just burn the damn CDs...
