What hardware do you have?
I have another computer, but I didn't really want to use it at the time. :-D
It has an AMD Athlon processor, 1ghz, 38gig hard drive, 64mb ram, and WinME OS.
The Reader is a DVDRom, called 0:0:0 LITEON DVD-ROM LTD122 NH1 on CDRWin.
My writer has 8xwrite 4xrewrite 32xread, called 0:1:0 LITE-ON LTR-0841 MNS1 on CDRWin.
See if this computer would work very well please! 8)

one thing that is best to do is to make sure you use the same reader as you do to write as this will make the best image file for the writer.

Here we go again - another idiot who doesn't know the correct settings for CDRWin!
The correct settings are the [4]DEFAULT[/4] ones!
Raw [4]MUST[/4] be ticked!

Your Computer is OK.
Try Clone CD, I burn my PSX game with it if they're not protected.
And CDR-Win if they're protected, because you need a patch.

Yada-Yada
I have read all these posts with keen interest. What do you do if you have a "mod"ified PS, a Sony burner that CDRWin doesn't support and CloneCD that still produces coasters with all the "right" options #####ed.

Sell the naff CD-R and buy one that is supported by both Clone-CD and CDR-WIn. These two pieces of software, particularly CDR-WIN (because it is less restrictive on CD-R device) lie at the core of successful PS2 backup creation. That comes through time and again on this forum.

Mr Pepsi
To BOT-CK and the rest of you that says you should put cd-r win in abort.
If i do that i will have a "Coaster" like you say.
But if i put it in ignore, even if i copy cd-2-cd, or if i make an cue/bin file it will be 100% good.
Of course i have to crack it to make it work.
So you mean if i want a 1to1 copy without an crack it should be in abort.
But i´ve got some originals that produces errors and if i choose abort i won´t get any copy.

So how should i do ????

It will not be 100% good. Bot-ck clearly stated if you set it to ignor read errors you will never get a true copy. PSX games do not have read errors unless the cd is damaged. The game may ####t up and play but will not be a true copy. If you dont get a 100% read without getting errors then you are wasting your time.

You say my computer will work but I don't think CDRWin Supports my CD-writer because When I go into "devices and settings" it shows that I have two readers, but no writers and I know that it is a writer because I'm able to put files onto a cd with it, using EasyCDCreator. So why does it think it's a reader and is there a way for me to work around it? ???

You are right. CDR-WIN does not support your Liteon 0841 CD-R device according to the Goldenhawk web site.
