Perfect CloneCD Settings?

I bought myself this new Plextor 24x Writer.
heard it handles Safedisc2. How are the best working settings for CloneCD?

Is there any hint for that? Thankyou!

Download Clony, it's a program that scannes for protections on your cd and tells you which one it has and also tells you the best read/write settings for CloneCD.

Good luck!

I just downloaded clony to have a look at it (my plex24... isn't delivered until tomorrow) I'm finding it a little difficult to understand, I've got the english version and the 'help' and 'FAQ' buttons don't show anything when I click them.

Is there a webpage I can look at for help with Clony anywhere?

It's not so difficult to use Clony, you just have got to scan the cd, and it tells you what protection the cd has (but pay attention, check on GCW if the cd has Cdchecks, the clony cannot recognizes it!!!).
When you have got the protection, just click on CloneCD and Clony will enter Automatically the parameters for You (you only have to set the fast error skip setting and speed, that sometimes clony tells you with some protections).
Hope i was clear!

there are a few ways to get around a cd check. the best way is, since most cd checks are ATIP checks, is to run the cd from a non-writer. you can also hide cd-r media. the hardest option is to modify the exe i.e. crack the thing.

in other words, you cannot directly bypass a cd-check with an option on the burn.

zedy, the cd check of that fashion is archaic. the ATIP check is commonly used now in both securom new and safedisc v2.

also, cd's that use the cd check as you mean it, tend to check and make sure that they are in the same drive they are installed from (ancient programming stuff).

also, hillbilly, read RAW with the lite on, dont tick subs on sfdisc2, and no need for AWS either .
