ive copied it loads of different ways and it still says after trying the differnt ways of booting it goes to the browser screen where you see your mem card and says it is a ps1 disk and then wont work

Please forgive me for this discouraging reply.

Neo2.2 and v5 PS2 are a bad mix. Add the uncertainties over AR2/v2.1 (you didn't say if it was 2.0 or 2.1) and anything could go wrong.

The Neo2.2 might not be properly installed - sounds like there's a problem understanding the Reset signal as it thinks the PS2 game is a PS1 game. or the burn may be bad. For burning, no more than 4x using CloneCD on a 100% compatible burner (DAO-RAW+96).

Don't touch NEO4 - it's a crap chip compared with Messiah. Find the money for Messiah.

If you are talking about DVD movies, the Messiah doesn't care what you play.....If you are talking about DVD-R backups, the Messiah doesn't care about that either.... Most of the DVD problems associated with the PS2 have to do with the laser....
As far as price, Charlie_PS2 can help you with that. I'm sure he will be on later.......

You must use a EA patch for the games to load. patches exist at www.ps2ownz.com

Messia isn't cheap. There's little change out of £125 for supplying and fitting a Messiah - all that saved of course when you use backup games. DVD movies only wear the laser out in the ame way as a light bulb wears out. if the PS2 is kept cool when playing DVDs, then it will take much longer to wear out. The issue is the temperature to which the DVD laser diode rises.

Don't worry. I don't play DVD movies on the PS2 - it's pointless when you can play it on a proper DVD player whilst my boy is esconced on the PS2 with his games.

Messiah for your v5 PAL is easy. There is no other full no swap solution. I've been supplying and fitting Messiahs since February. If you e-mail me at charlie_ps2**********com I'll send you the data sheet and terms of trade.
