Angry CDRwin Still Not Working! HELP ME PLEASE!

Im starting to get frustrated. CDRwin is not detecting my Cd Writer. It Says there is no supported devices installed in the recorders tab but under the readers tab, it shows my cdwriter and my CDrom. Ive tried updating my drivers and still nothing. I have drivers version 4.60 installed. I checked it with the aspi utility to make sure. What do i do? PLEASE HELP ME!

Try using a different version of CDRWIN - if you use version 3.9, then try version 4. If you already use version 4, then go back to 3.9 to see if the problem is remedied

Im losing all hope. Ive tried Cdrwin versions 3.8d, 3.9A, 4.0a beta. I guess im doomed. Would u happen to know any other program i can use to burn MODE2 and CDROM-XA. Ive tried fireburner and Nero. Im trying to make a backup of my star wars jedi starfighter for PS2 and everybody uses CDrwin to burn their images. And from what i know, they have to be burned in MODE2. any suggestions?

ok, how to burn whatever u want to do in nero

1. open nero and select burn image

2. choose the bin or whatever raw image it is

a dialogue will open allowing you to choose the parameters of the burn. you can choose mode 1, mode 1 raw data, mode 2, mode 2 xa, scrambled/unscrambled bits, etc.

of course, be sure and burn slower than normal, as a bin is raw, and has no error correction.
