Best CD-Writer out there???

So, what would be the best writer(about 200$) that could do PC, PSX, PS2, and DC copies??? Should I go with HP or PLEXTOR???

I personally have the plextor 12/10/32 EIDE burner. It'll burn anything....as long as you have the right software. I use CDRWIN and CloneCD.

I'd go for plex 241040.
I'd NOT go for plex 161040A.
Because it dos NOT support reading subchannel data from DATA track's!
It dos support reading subchannel data from AUDIO tracks. My guess is that you think im wrong, but im not.
Copy\Paste from supported cdr on elby.com:

patterns Best supported Read Mode for Data :RAW
Explonation RAW:RAW = 2352 bytes RAW Data. No Subchannel Data can be read.

This info is for plex 16x10x40A.
hope this helps you make up your mind go for 241040 plex

Cheers shorin

The three best cdrws are Teac, Plextor and Liteon, at 24x10x40
all nearly perfect. If I were you, I'd go to www.cdrinfo.com/harware and compare these three and decide which fits your needs best.
Mine is the Teac and I'll probably buy it soon.

P.S: They all have full subchannel read\writeing, BURN-Proof (or something like it) and "correct EFM encoding of regular bit patterns" - meaning they can make copies of Safedisc2 protected CDs perfectly.

I want a SCSI CD-RW, 10 speed or better that can backup Safedisc V2 protection...
I was going to get the TEAC 512s, but I cant find if it does RAW mode anywhere. Any help or suggestions would be great..
