I see where you're coming from, Megalexxx, but keep in mind that if the writer software ADJUSTS the files as they're going on the disc, so they fit REDBOOK format, they'll still take up just as much space on the disc as if you had converted them manually. I know Nero and Easy CD Creator both convert MP3s to "REDBOOK" audio as it burns, but as a result, a tiny handful of MP3 files can take up an entire disc (or more).
