Do i need a DVD Rom or writer to read PS2 games?

I only have a CD-Rom & CD Writer.

until your cd-r is able to read subchannel datas and audio, you shouldn't have any prob in reading and writing your psx games; btw check to web pages in gcw concerning psx protections.

Obviously if the game is on a dvd then you will need a dvd reader/writer
