Nero Dvd Copying. Test And Burn Option??

Hello folks,
i will have a couple of ps2 original dvd based games by tomorrow.
I have Nero installed and Charlies tutorial on how to use it.
However i noticed in the tutorial that at the time of Charlie writing it that there was no known way to use the test or the test and burn options.
Does anyone know if this is still the case or has anyone found a way to activate them??
I have also downloaded the Primo software but i can't get it to install with windows xp.
I think this is because i haven't activated windows yet because i'm not online with that pc at the moment so for now Nero is my only option.

THANKS THANKS THANKS.

Argo.

Well, if you can get PrimoDVD working, it'll do better for you in my opinion. Dust'll sort you out for getting it working with XP.

As to Nero test & Burn, I never tried it again because it takes too long. If the test before burn fails, you might as well throw the disk away as it isn't going to burn anyway. Certainly true of the A04 which has buffer underrun protection.

Okay ,
thanks Charlie.
After downloading Primo i burnt it to cd along with several other programs i wanted to send to my new pc, i did it this way as i didn't what to mess about removing and refitting hard drives etc.
The strange thing is when installing Primo from the cd all the files get copied across and it says they can be found and run from the programs menu
The system then reboots as usual for the changes to take effect
but guess what , no Prassi folder or files have been installed.
As i said i thinks it's because Windows xp has not been activated,
i think this is a requirement for some other programs, Clone cdv4
for example.
Anyway if you can help Dust please do.

THANKS THANKS THANKS.

Argo.
