Max Payne Help!

I fully installed Max Payne, and downloaded a NO-CD patch, and replaced the original .exe with the patch. Everything seemed to be workin fine, but once it hit the "Loading" screen, Windows said that Max Payne had performed an illegal operation and will be shut down:

(MAXPAYNE caused an invalid page fault in
module E2MFC.DLL at 016f:008ee764.)

This really makes me mad

, cuz I've tried 2 different patches.....Any ideas or solutions?!?! Thanks!

Have you installed the latest 1.05 patch ?

I don't know for sure, but i think you first have to replace the no-cd exe by the original one before applying the patch.

It's also possible that your graphics card doesn't support Max Payne (check the readme file on the Max Payne cd). Maybe updating your card drivers can help.
