il2 sturmovik

hi all,
i burned a bin file of il2 sturmovik to cd and when i goto install game i get message saying i need to put in the cd in the drive ...ive done a search but cant find anything ..anybody point me in the right direction please

yeah...know what u mean. had the same problem cuz the installation exe checks for the original cd. the only solution i'd found was to use an 1:1 copy of the original cd. efm doesn't come into it, u could do a copy with burners not efm capable (best choise: clonecd).
a normal session cd - and my guess is that is what u get - the installation exe won't accept.
the only chance u have at the moment is to search for a cracked setup exe. i also tried that, but with no success. but on the other hand - that was a long time ago.
