Looking 4 info on DVD writers (which 2 buy)

Hey -
I'm getting ready 2 buy a DVD-RAM and I want one that can do the following:
- make backup copies of almost any game onto CD-R
- make backup copies of all DVD movies onto DVD-R
- (obiously) burn CD-R/CD-RW and DVD-R/DVD-RW

If someone can point me in the direction of some Internet-based info. on DVD-writers and which one to buy so I can make lots of backup copies of games and movies, I would appreciate it.
