Rallt Championship UK PAL
I have been trying to back up Rally Championship and it is causing some frustration - firstly it will fit on to a CD rather than DVD so I thought should be easy - used clone CD, booted up using AR2 and GTA3 as the boot to swap with - no luck.
Perhaps the PS2 doesnt like the brand of CDR - tried verbatim, black traxdata no luck. Tried White Label DVR but still no luck. Have patched the CD and DVD versions and still no luck - whats the problem ? Ian |

OK. I did this with Rally Championship, and it worked perfectly. So follow these steps, - and it will work perfectly for you.
1. Copy the CD to your hard drive on CDRWin (creating a *.bin Image) using RAW reading, on XA mode. Read subchannel data, and turn error correction off. 2. Use EAPatcher to patch the image. EAPatcher is the name of the programme - it is not hard to find. 3. Burn the image onto CD at 2X speed (takes half an hour) and make sure it is on ISO 9660 mode. 4. Boot AR2. Select "Play Games" then "without codes" then swap. Make sure you press X on the control pad when the tray closes. If this is too much hassle, do what I did, and get a messiah. No patching. And using CloneCD actually works. Good luck. |
