Question a question about the cheaper dvdrs and GTA3

As I still consider myself a newbie please excuse any stupid questions that may follow;

recently I have bought a few different unbranded DVDR's some load some dont, some I bought online, some I bought from a local computer store.

the one's that seem to load have wider starting area,ring track what ever its called anyway does this make sense.?

I read the post on dvdr's and GTA3 of course I had this poblem with my cheap DVDR's so do you which brand would be successful?

and finally even if the DVDR's don't boot can make an image file from them and burn them back onto higher quality DVDR's?

that's for any help

I have backed up GTA3 on Verbatim and it hasn't missed a beat . Other recomendations would be Pioneer and Apple

If ya have an image file of the game you want to back up saved on your hard disk then you can use that image file to burn as many disks as you like until you erase it . You can even send that file over the internet to another computer that you want to burn that backup on . Read the help files in the burning software you have and it will explain all this and more Don't waste your time with cheap media , I learn't the hard way and found it's definately worth spending a bit more cash for quality backups .
